The total height of the tower is 369 metres (1,211 ft), 221 metres (725 ft) of which is a 49-storey reinforced concrete structure with 18 metres (59 ft) below ground. The height of the tower's steel antenna is 168 metres (551 ft). With an total height of 587 meters above sea level, it carries the title of the highest structure in Istanbul and in Europe.

The Çamlıca Radio & TV Tower has been established to improve the local communication and broadcasting operations to world standards and provide communication services to every corner of Turkey.
The rapid development of technology increased the number of transmitters required for effective radio-TV broadcasting. Some of these global transmitters fall short of today’s standards and cause visual and electromagnetic pollution.
Through its prestige project 'Çamlıca TV & Radio Tower' Kule A.Ş. has consolidated the antennas scattered around the ancient city of Istanbul and saved the landscape from visual pollution.
he project has both brought the local broadcasting services to modern standards and has given Istanbul a smart, sleek, eco-friendly, and symbolic building, which will surely promote the tourism in the city. Through collaborations with domestic and national technology companies, Küçük Çamlıca Television and Radio Tower has improved the quality and capacity of local radio-TV broadcasting operations to world standards and significantly contributed to the development of Turkey.
