A new aquarium experience is awaiting visitors at Emaar Aquarium & Underwater Zoo.
The aquarium and underwater zoo, composed of different thematic sections, namely the Main Tank that includes the Tunnel Aquarium as well as Rocky Shores, Forests, Rivers and Falls, Penguin Island, Crocodile Kingdom, and interactive play area Dreamers Island, is home to more than 20,000 marine animals and amphibians of 200 species.
Emaar Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is home to 200 thousand aquatic creatures and amphibians from more than 200 species with its 1.2 million liter water capacity.

Emaar Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is a place with tropical fish and other underwater species that will attract tourists Its modern design, magical atmosphere, and various sea animals make it an exciting and fun tourist attraction to enjoy your time in Istanbul. Marvelous aquatic creatures found in the seas, rivers, and oceans are brought from around the world to continue their lives in Emraar Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. Their new home, a tunnel-shaped huge aquarium, is located 3.5 meters below the ground and is filled with azure blue waters. This impressive aquarium has a capacity of 1.2 million liters of water that accommodates more than 20.000 aquatic creatures and amphibians of 200 species. The creatures that the aquarium contains vary, including reptiles, tarantulas, crocodiles, penguins, scorpions, shellfish, iguanas, chameleons, and tropical fish.

Rocky Shores
Rocky Shores section contains perhaps the most attractive and dangerous-looking underwater creatures coming from shallow oceans. Sharks, stingrays, shrimps, and other crustaceans are brought from around the world to meet visitors in an aquarium environment.

Tunnel Aquarium
Tunnel Aquarium is one of the most interesting buildings located in Emaar Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. This glass tunnel is quite powerful, safe and allows you to monitor unusual aquatic creatures while walking under the water. This part of the aquarium is a trendy tourist attraction since you can feel like diving underwater in the middle of the diversity of sea life.
Dreamers Island
Dreamers Island is an ideal service for visitors who want to continue the experience of underwater in digital reality. With this unusual theme that will especially interest children of ages 7-15, you can draw fish and dinosaur species on tablets and animate them digitally.
Forests

Here you can observe one of the most enormous reptiles of the world, the King Croc, with a whopping 750 kg and measuring over 5 meters. Emaar Aquairum & Zoo is located on the 2nd basement floor of Emaar Square Mall.
It is a great experience to meet extraordinary creatures of our beautiful world. While observing them in the Emaar Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, you will also feel like you are taking a real dive under the water 3.5 meters below the ground.
With Istanbul Go Pass, you don’t pay any fee! When you are a Pass holder, you are exempt from all entrance fees, and you can only enjoy your visit to this fantastic attraction!
Although the excursion hours are not limited, you can complete your trip in different thematic sections in about an hour. If you have time, spend more hours and enjoy the magical world of sea creatures for as long as you like!
You are free to take photographs and videos in a way that does not cause problems for the health of our animal friends. That means please refrain from using flashlights and scaring animals. Smartphones and cameras are allowed to enter the attraction.
Emaar Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, which operates on weekdays and Saturdays, accepts visitors from 10:00 to 21:00 everyday except Sundays. Last admission is at 20:15
In Emaar Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, you will find many thematic parks! It is not only a basic aquarium, but a whole zoo actually. There are almost 10 thematic sections in this zoo.
You can navigate to Emaar Square Mall, since the aquarium is inside the mall. You can use the Kadikoy-Kartal metro line and drop off at the Goztepe station.
